What Is A Central Cleaning System?
A Central Cleaning System is basically the provision of a pressure boosting pump with it's associated storage tanks and control equipment supplying various points in the factory with pressurised water. This pressure can be between 100 and 2000 psi although it is normally around 400 - 1000 psi. The current trend is towards lower pressures since the discovery that certain bacterium can breed in the aerosols caused by a high pressure jet. Depending on the type of factory and degree of soiling, the water may be hot or cold and detergent and sanitisers maybe added.
